What is MUN?

MUN stands for Model United Nations. It is an educational simulation in which students role-play as delegates representing different countries or entities in a simulated session of the United Nations or another international organization. The primary goal of MUN is to provide participants with an opportunity to learn about diplomacy, international relations, and global issues while improving their public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.

During a Model United Nations conference, participants discuss and debate various international topics, such as climate change, human rights, security issues, and more, within the framework of the UN or other relevant international bodies. They work together to draft resolutions and engage in diplomatic negotiations to address these global challenges.
